She considers the blood-red rose, ashen arms
propose to accentuate the flowers lust, yet hang
lank, a moment passed.

A pollen heavy bee penetrates the scene.

A nice one K, and I certainly like your 'Now you have a violent exterior' as well - 'thugs' are usually thought of as 'mindless' but I do agree that there are a fair share of educated middle-class thugs about as well and if anything they are maybe even more disgusting !?
