Locational song - Summertime, Walking on the Moon

'Summertime' is one of the greatest locational songs to be written by people with no personal experience of the locational setting involved.
So this can be done, though it is easier and commoner to write well of what you do have personal experience !!
Summertime
by Ira Gershwin and Du Bose Heyward, from the 1933 musical "Porgy and Bess" (Music by George Gershwin)
Summertime
And the living is easy
Fish are jumpin'
And the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy's rich
And your mama's good lookin'
So hush little baby now
don't you cry
One of these mornin's
You're gonna rise up singin'
Then you'll spread your wings
And take to the sky
But til that mornin'
Ain't nothin' can harm you
With your daddy
And your mammy
standin' by.
