keep going
years pass in rapid spin
yet there's no such thing
time moves on never slowing
a river pushing on
never stopping always going
days die
are they ever born
memories of a life torn
your born
you grow
forwards
onwards
keep going
to what?
I don't know
head spinning one way
world spins the other
one more dumb cliche
ticking down a dying day
on my knees
I kneel and pray
for stillness
solid ground
more time to wander round
give me a miracle
give me a sign
just a little confidence
for faith in the divine.
