Britney Spears is not a bad singer though her songs often have weak lyrics. Nearest to a good lyric was maybe her 1998 song 'Hit me baby one more time' or '...Baby one more time' by Max Martin which she sang dressed in a schoolgirl uniform in its video.

Since 'Hit me baby one more time' maybe smells of a cheap drugs lyric, sadism lyric, child-** lyric or more likely just cheap teen-talk lyric the 'hit me' was edited out of the song title, thougn not out of the song.
But with 'Kiss me baby one more time' or 'Love me baby one more time' Britney might have had a song with a better lyric but would no doubt have had less sales. Gimmick lyrics sell best for a time at least but generally do not last so well.

But if you can take the 'Hit me' then Britney's 'Hit me baby one more time' is a great song.

I also like Britney Spears, and Rihanna as in her 2010 song 'Only Girl (In The World)' though some of its lyric could maybe be improved on ;
(Song lyrics seem increasingly about promoters trying to maximise sales to teens rather than to producing the best lyrics?)
