I have just read the lovely posting by new member Thelma aged 79, who was born and bred here in Grimsby but whose family emigrated to Australia.
Another member Robert Davidson also was born and bred here in Grimsby and emigrated to Australia. And some other members were born here and now live in the USA !
This certainly shows that the internet really connects the world ! And it is nice to hear from GY ex-pats anywhere.
So do tell us more Thelma, Robert and all - it is very educational !!
Yes Clare, it is nice to see posts by Grimsby born people who have move to Australia, USA or wherever - and they might even be very useful if you want to holiday or emigrate there !?
