I can't recall all the lyric of a song I really like, though it has been use in many films etcetera, it goes ;
Everybody's talking at me
Can't hear a word they're saying
Only hear the echoes of my mind
Anybody know the full lyric or where to get it ?

Its one of my favs too GrimDad, found the full words at the Harry Nilsson website ;
Everybody's Talking At Me.
Artist: Harry Nilsson.
Everybody's talking at me.
I don't hear a word they're saying,
Only the echoes of my mind.
People stopping staring,
I can't see their faces,
Only the shadows of their eyes.
I'm going where the sun keeps shining
Thru' the pouring rain,
Going where the weather suits my clothes,
Backing off of the North East wind,
Sailing on summer breeze
And skipping over the ocean like a stone.
I'm going where the sun keeps shining
Thru' the pouring rain,
Going where the weather suits my clothes,
Backing off of the North East wind,
Sailing on summer breeze
And skipping over the ocean like a stone.

Hi GrimDad, After visiting this site for the first time and seeing that your music is on a par with mine. I posted on the poetry site, a poem done to a well known tune that I did last year for a competition and never sent it in.
Though retired, I'm still working as an editor for a poetry/short story magazine.
