I was playing around with some anagrams of words the other day, and I came across the following website http://wordsmith.org/anagram/ , which is a pretty cool internet anagram server. just type in names, words, whatever, and it comes up with some interesting anagrams. Takes a bit of playing around with, and it struggles if you input a large amount of letters, but like I say , it's quite fun doing friends names. i am sure some of you may find it geekingly entertaining as I have.
However, in the anagram hall of fame there are some brilliant ones eg,
mother in law = woman hitler
clint eastwood = old west action
astronomers = moon starers
and many many more, have a look, but the most fantastic one there in my opinion is as follows :-
From Hamlet by Shakespeare:
To be or not to be: that is the question, whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. =
In one of the Bard's best-thought-of tragedies, our insistent hero, Hamlet, queries on two fronts about how life turns rotten.
Brilliant, no?

Yes a great anagram website Rybo - though I cannot help being a bit uneasy at the English language being increasingly taken over by Americans ?!

Re: Anagrams
Just note that your link is to a multinational American website founded by an America, like Microsoft and Google.
I readily grant that some of these can support English English and its variations as well as other forms of English, but I do wonder if even the common basics of the language are being undermined in today's computer and texting world.

Oh I see, now I realize. I have become lazy with my English over the fall. comes from sitting on my fanny using some garbage spell checker. But I am very British, In fact in the parking lot, my trailer has a bumper sticker with the colors of our union jack which proves I'm a patriot. anyway just picked up my pay check, so I got a pocket full of bills, and am going to watch the soccer. Ciao
