Enter a Competition
Entering skill competitions of almost any kind helps to sharpen the mind. So it is good to see John A Silkstone posting a new poetry competition in our Poetry forum (under My Own Poetry). And I do like your new Paying the Bill poem John.

Hi greamsmithafrica,
I looked at your online learning website and it could be useful for kids learning, it is Indian but in English and looks good for maths and science schoolwork at least. They only charge about £14 per year for their internet learning and TV learning (tho I doubt their TV can be got outside India). They now work only to Indian exams but that matters little for most homeschooling.
India with its low wages and improved English use should be able to provide the cheapest internet education in English ?
GrimDad hey

Great topic I think it totally depends how fast you progress. If you work solid, you could probably be competing at a low level in about a year. If you're looking to do the complete minimum practice, I'm afraid it's going to take a _lot_ longer than that.
Best of luck.
