getting your kids to study

Post by sally roberts »

I have found an excellent way of getting my daughter to do extra school work. I give her 5 work sheets from a educational site we belong to primaryleapfrog.com each week. She has to complete them for her pocket money. Its teaches her good habits. Don´t be to soft on them. I am already noticing her progress.

Yes Sally that is certainly a good idea. And this site does have a link to the site you refer to.

This site also has free downloads of print-your-own math sheets at Free Maths Sheets if you can use a computer that has Microsoft Office with Excel. Or sells 20 printed maths sheets with separate answer sheet for only £1 at Online Store.

Maths Sheets or other worksheets can be an easy and fun way to boost kids learning.

Well you are right Sally that worksheets are a good way to encourage learning, and to get a good idea of what progress is being made.

I think they work best if they are brief - 5 minutes a day - and if they are difficulty-graded so you can slowly progress to harder ones.
