Meeting

I shall return tomorrow, friday 8th o june, at around 2 - 3 pm, hopefully people will join me so I may meet others poets, if so I look forward to meeting you.

Times of quiet desperation,
what happened ?
where is everyone,
thud, thud, thud,
is that MY heart beating?

Millions of voices surround me,
none aimed at me,
I used to know people,
thud, thud, thud,
That cant be my heart!

Smiles, laughter, fun,
none of its for me,
so I stare at my own reflection,
thud, thud, thud,
What is that banging?

Lost in my own dejection,
pleasing thoughts of sadness,
tears fall like an avalanche,
thud, thud, thud,
Its getting louder!

So lonely, so tired,
Caught in a catch-22,
My mind wants to think,
thud, thud, thud,
My heart wants to love.
